The Curtain Call Club
Jim Cook Jr. (President)
Jim Cook is a Woodstown High School alumnus (2006) and an English Language Arts instructor at Woodstown High. He is a U.S. Army veteran, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Levoy Theatre (Millville, N.J.) and the Pilesgrove-Woodstown Historical Society. He also volunteers as the Assistant Director at the Woodstown High School Drama Club.
Pam Chew (Vice President)
Pam Chew is A Woodstown High School alumni and an instructor at the William Roper School for children. She is the founder of the Kids Inquiry Conference (KIC), which provides opportunities for Woodstown High School students to create curricula for elementary-level students, and present science projects to the younger generations. It has been successful for more than two decades. A mother of three, her youngest son Karson starred in “Brigadoon,” “Footloose,” and “Bright Star” at WHS.
Chuck Angelus (Treasurer)
Chuck Angelus is a Woodstown High School alumni (2003) who worked in the stage crew of many WHS Drama Club productions. He’s an elected member of the Alloway Township Committee, an Operations Captain in the Salem County Sheriff’s Department, and serves on the Salem County Information Technology Steering Committee. Angelus is the father of Juliette Angelus, who recently seen last year in “Bright Star” at WHS.
Elizabeth Hitchner (Secretary)
Elizabeth Hitchner is a 2025 graduate of Woodstown High School. She currently attends Rowan University where she majors in Music Education. She is the first recipient of the Curtain Call Club Orchid Award (2025), and has performed in many shows at WHS. She has also been a leader in the music and performing arts programs at WHS, and is an expert in the technical systems. She last starred as Rusty in “Footloose” at Woodstown High.
Woodstown Theatre Department
Shannon Sheridan (Director, WHS)
Mrs. Sheridan became the Drama Director at Woodstown High in 2016 when she debuted with “The Sound of Music.” She is the Director of Bands at Woodstown High & Middle School and Mary S. Shoemaker Elementary School, and the Director of the award-winning Woodstown High School Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Band. As a performer, has appeared on stage at the Levoy Theatre (Millville), Off Broad Street Players (Bridgeton), and has worked with Center Stage Kids at the Blue Moon Theatre (Woodstown).
Kahlil Gunther (Director of Music)
Mr. Gunther became Music Director of the Woodstown spring musical in 1996 with Big River. He currently is the Director of Music Instruction at Woodstown High, and teaches Music Theory, Music Fundamentals, Piano, and Music Technology. He is the Director of the award winning WHS Chamber Choir, Select and Concert Choirs. He is also the Director of the Salem County Oak Singers at Salem Community College.
Sarah Rickard
(Producer)
Ms. Rickard is in her first year as the WHS Drama Club producer. She works in the Main Office at Woodstown High School and is a volunteer at the Woodstown-Pilesgrove Library. She recently produced “Bright Star” at WHS.
AngelaRae Wilson Hughes (Director, WMS)
Mrs. Hughes became the director of the Woodstown Middle School Drama Club in 2024 with the successful production of “Snow White Musicapalooza.” She is served for 15 years as a paraprofessional in Woodstown Schools, and begins as the Administrative Assistant to the Woodstown Middle School principal in 2024-2025. She has also coached sports in Woodstown schools, and is an alumni of Woodstown High School (1997) and Rowan University.
